Early post-medieval peg tiles recovered from Archaeology South-East evaluation excavation in August 2014. They were the only dateable find recovered from the site.

Full Description

An Archaeology South-East evaluation excavation took place in August 2014 ahead of propoosed development at the site. (1)

2 Conjoining Early post-medieval peg tiles with diamond-shaped nail hole were recovered. (1)

The excavation also uncovered an undated pit with no finds and a possible (also undated) posthole, again with no finds. The excavation also recovered a small quantity of undateable iron nails and an undated sheep skeleton. (1)
