Full Description

A magnetometer survey took place in 2013 producing a number of findings which can be accounted for by reference to OS maps of 1867 and 1964. An extract from the 1964 map shows field boundaries which correspond to the linear feature A, B and C. The results suggest they represent ditches, filled with imported modern debris like rubble, although it is possible they may contain pipe. Another small magnetic anomaly relates to a pond. Land drains are clearly visivle inth results, probably modern. (1-2)
