Full Description

In 2014 A magnetometer and Earth resistance survey were carried out at the Peters Village development site. A prehistoric ring ditch had previously been partially exposed during excavations. The study aimed to trace the rest of the ring ditch. The magnetometer and earth resistance surveys both succeeded in detecting the northern half of the ring ditch which had been partially exposed. They have also identified a small number of linear features which may represent other ditches of indeterminate date. (1)
