Appears to be either large wreck with two "islands" or to be in two pieces. Least echosounder depth 27 in general depth 71ft. Scour 81ft. 19-MAR-1968 Wreck In two parts. Drift swept - clear at 5ft, foul at 7ft. Least echosounder depth 26 in general depth 70ft. Scour depth 89ft. Good sonar contact. Large swirls and discoloured water seen. 30-JAN-1974 Examined in 51 10 58N 001 31 43E. Least echosounder depth 6 in general depth 11m. Scour 20.4m. No surface disturbance at HW. Lies in area of small sandwaves. 02-DEC-1980 In 51 10 59N 001 31 50E. Side scan sonar gave no shadow, but shows two distinct pieces of wreckage lying within an area 50 x 20m on heading 090/270 deg. General depths in area now approx 5m less than charted. 09-APR-1981 Swept clear at 1.2m, Foul at 1.6m. Least echosounder depth 2.5 in general depth 7-11m. Scour 14m. No side scan sonar shadow. Two pieces of wreckage, lying 090/270 degs, over area 50x20m. 19-JUN-1986 Least echosounder depth 1.9 in general depths 5-6m. Scour depth 7.5m. Only a small portion of this wreck now remains proud of the seabed. 06-NOV-1990 In 51 10 59.6N 001 31 49.8E least echosounder depth 2.3 In general depth 4m. Scour depth 5.2m. No side scan sonar shadow obtained. Length 20m, width 5m. Lies 090/270 deg. An apparently small contact, mostly buried, but producing a sizeable magnetic anomaly. (1)
