Summary

In September 2011, a keyhole excavation took place at No 4 Stephens Close as part of a series of ongoing excavations by Folkestone Society Archaeological Research Group. It uncovered no clear archaeological features but various artefacts from multiple periods and pottery from every period but the Saxon period was recovered.
