Summary
During a keyhole excavation by Faversham Society Archaeological Research Group at No 4 Stephens Close as part of an ongoing series of investigations (The Davington Mysteries) the remains of the walls and roof of a 2 phase (16th-17th Century and 18-19th century) post medieval building was uncovered. The surrounding contexts also contained a substantial quantity of multi-period reisdual artefactual evidence.
