Second World War Air raid shelter in Hartsdown Park according to Thanet Gazette 10.7.15 (1).
A pair of air raid shelters (MKE124463) have been recorded on the western edge of Hartsdown Park adjacent to Hartsdown Road on RAF/26J/BR194 VC 15 10-JAN-1941 which may be the same shelters referred to by authority (1) above. These shelters were later noted as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 (2-3).
