Position of Chain Home aerial mast as seen on 1946 aerial. (1)

A transmitter site of Second World War date was visible as a structure in RAF/HLA/380 STBD 906 15-DEC-1941. The transmitter/receiver block was oriented north-south towards the southern side of the Chain Home Low station. It had been removed by 1951 when the site was being converted into a ROTOR station.

This feature was recorded as a demolished structure in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2-4)
