Full Description

Western of two 4-inch gun emplacements at Little Cliffsend Farm. Built as a coastal battery in 1940 or ealy 1941. Eastern emplacement is Listed as TR 36 SE 753. See site record TR 36 SE 324.

Heritage statement of significance written for Western structure in 2015.

Both Western and Eastern gun emplacements were considered for Listing in 2015 by Historic England, but only the Eastern one was Listed, the Western considered comprimised by alteration and its incorporation into the adjoining house.
