Full Description
A row of blocks three deep which were originally considered to be anti-tank defences. These lie on the apron of the former train-ferry dock in Dover's Western docks between the harbour arm carrying the train tracks and an adjacent harbour wall.
These have subsequently been identified on aerial photographs as post war additions designed to stem the tide and break up any waves before they hit the dock. (1)
