Summary
The former site of the Dover Pilot watchtower. Originally a timber construction built in the early 19th century which was demolished during construction of the railway to the South Pier in 1844. This was replaced by a stone tower at the landward end of the pier in 1844. The replacement was demolished in 1913 when the railway was widened. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
