Full Description
The former site of the coastguard station at Walmer. Its rocket aparatus shed is recorded at MWX43929. A coastguard station at Walmer is recorded on the 2nd to 4th Editions of the OS map and also appears on the census records from AD1841 to AD1891. The building has now been demolished and replaced with a grassed area. (1)
