Full Description

A polygonal timber windmill on a brick base is mentioned in the Historic Area Assessment for Stoke Parish, by English Heritage, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. The windmill is mentioned as being to the east of Allhallows Road and owned by Mr Cooper in 1878. It was disused by the 20th century, but the building remained standing until the 1920s and is perhaps commemorated in the name of the local authority estate built around this time on Allhallows Road.
