Full Description
Faversham Health Centre, Founded as the Faversham Provident Dispensary in 1883. Moved to Stone Street and renamed 1887-1888. Purpose built 1-storey brick building. Later additions included a new wing (1922), nurses accomodation (1936), and a health centre (1977-79). WWI Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) Hospital - used at sometime between 1914 and 1918 - provided x-ray facilities. The building is still in use.
