Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: VS Orientation: 320140 22-JUN-1959 Drift sweep Clear at 32ft foul at 35ft least water by echosounder 33ft (FRANKLIN) 34ft (SHARPSHOOTER) wreck 12ft above seabed general depth 45ft wreck pprox 100ft long and lying in a very slight scour. 22-JUN-1959 Lucas wire sweep using enlarged decca grid. 17-AUG-1955 Wreck was not found and area around this charted position was cleared to 34ft general depth 38ft seabed sand and shell it is considered that the wreck has been dispersed to seabed. 15-FEB-1961 Not found. 02-FEB-1971 Closely investigated but only scour found in 51 21 58N 001 33 31E, scour 14.2m (46.5Ft) in 13m (42.75Ft) flat seabed no scour from N,E,S and W. wreck presumably buried. 20-MAY-1976 Scour found. 05-APR-1979 Nothing found during intensive side scan sonar search. 05-APR-1979 In 51 21 54N 001 33 30E. in general depth 12.5m Small contact only and not considered worth closer examination at this time. 19-JAN-1987 Magnetic anomaly only in this position. No indication on echosounder or side scan sonar, considered entirely buried. (1)
