This feature is recorded in the English Heritage report on the Second World War Stop Line in the Hoo Peninsula. This feature comprises a probable Second World War anti-tank gun emplacement or pillbox at the edge of Ratly Hills Wood, on the lower part of a north west facing slope near Cliffe Woods. It was no longer visible on photographs in 1992.
