Full Description
This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Cooling Parish. The report states:
"The vestry gave land to the east of the cottages for a new school (demolished) that was built in the late 19th century".
"One consequence of the village's minimal growth was that in 1902 the school was closed due to insufficient numbers". (1)
