Full Description
This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Assessment Record for Cooling Parish. The report states:
"Two mid 19th century ranges of hop kilns remain to either side of the main street [of Spendiff]. Both underwent residential conversion in the late 20th century: the southern range (Orlick Oast, Drummle Oast and Gargery Oast) all retain their circular oast houses but of the north side only one has survived (Kiln House).
