Full Description

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Cliffe. The report states: "Two former surface air raid shelters, one of Anderson type, the other a small brick one that served the occupants of the former coastguard cottages at the western end of Redham Mead have disappeared possibly when the cottages themselves were demolished in the late 20th century."
