Full Description

The site of a Second World War roadblock constructed on the A256 Haine Road, Hollins Bottom near RAF Manston in mid 1940 to counter the threat of German Invasion. The roadblock was manned by the 8th Kings Regiment and is recorded in the war diaries of 198 Infantry Brigade – Ref: 156. (1)
