Full Description
The Old Vicarage, formerly The Vicarage, was used as a Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) Hospital by Kent/114 VAD from July 1916 until Dec 1918. The building is still in use.
Timber framed vicarage built by 1535. It has a rectagular plan, of four unequal bays in line on an east-west axis originally with a crown post roof. Substantial alterations and additions were made in the 18th and 19th centuries. (2)
