Full Description
Trench 11 was situated between the north end of the barrack block B20 and the south wall of building 32 (building etc. numbers relate to those given by Philp) (1). An opus signinum floor was located within a building uncovered in this trench (building 20). The floor relates to a later phase of development of this area, when building 20 was extended to the north, for which only a general date of mid to late second century or later may be assigned with any confidence.
