Monument record TR 34 SW 1330 - Post medieval occupation along Snargate Street/Northampton Quay, Dover
Summary
During work associated with the A20 Road and Sewer Scheme an extended watching brief was carried out along the south side of Snargate Street and Northampton Quay. A number of Post Medieval features were recorded including numerous walls with red Dutch brick dating to the seventeenth century (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information).
