Full Description
During a geophysical survey in 2014, "Foundations likely to be associated with the abbey have been found in the resistance data through the northern and central southern sections of Area 1. These take the form of rectilinear increased resistance trends, a high resistance right angled response and a large spread of high resistance values which then seem to turn through 90³."
"Between the buildings in Area 1 is a mass of high resistance values [18], with a very well defined
northern limit, which spread south and then appear to turn west [19] across the stream. It seems
very likely that these are from remnants of the original abbey buildings." (1)
