Full Description

During geophysical survey in 2014, "a potential large building on the south lawns in Area 5" was indentified. The report also noted that "increased values close to the present day abbey buildings on that south side may warrant closer inspection".

"Area 5 is the only other area with clear potential for archaeological remains, on the large lawn
south of the present abbey buildings. The high resistance responses [23] clearly have a rectilinear
spread and may well represent part of a large building." (1)
