Full Description
"A small number Late Roman artefacts was recovered from the overburden ofTrench 1, and from features [10/004] and [10/007]. Those recovered from ditch [10/004] might be intrusive, deriving from nearby spread [10/007]. This spread might relate to the abandonment of the rest of the site, with small
scale robbing and re-use of materials taking place, which might also explain the iron slag within this feature." (1)
