Monument record TR 34 SW 1337 - Post Medieval and 19th century cellar/boundary walls to the west of Bench Street, Dover.
Summary
Work carried out in association with the A20 road and sewer works in Dover between 1991-1993, revealed a series of post medieval and 19th century boundary/cellar walls, to the west of Bench Street. These relate to the buildings which once fronted onto old Snargate Street (north side), and which had been demolished in 1970-71 to make way for road improvements (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information).
