Full Description
Mentioned in the heritage statement for 'Land South of Canterbury': "The New Dover Road Milestone is located at New Dover Road and is a Victorian milestone, which can no longer be seen due to the overgrown nature of the surrounding land. The stone sits within an overgrown verge on the east side of the road, currently not visible from it. The stone could not be found by CgMs during the site visit, however, its associated setting is found in the location of the road. As such the Site provides no contribution to its significance" (1).
