Monument record TQ 67 SE 371 - Post-Medieval brickearth quarrying features, Hever Court Road, Gravesend

Summary

A large quarry pit [54], dated by 16th century roof tile fragments in the fill, and cut by pit [12], which contained peg tile fragments. Pit [04], "backfilled with 16th-17th century roof tile". Nearby, two parallel linear features ([28] and [30]) appeared to be contemporary with each other and the quarry pits, and may have been cart tracks related to the quarrying activity.
