Monument record TR 34 SW 1382 - Medieval occupational debris, York Street, Dover.
Summary
A shallow service trench was cut by Canterbury Archaeological Trust along the western side of York Street, Dover, in January 1992, revealed the top of a windblown sand deposit overlain by a layer of loamy sand containing occupational debris including a pot rim sherd dated to A.D 1075 - 1125. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information).
