Quality of Depth: SWS 04-JUN-1959 Drift sweep clear at 20ft foul at 21ft, position 51 48 47N 001 23 12E this was a big ship and it is possible that the two peaks reported as the GIRASOL and DALRYAN are two portions of the GIRASOL and that this wreck is the DALRYAN of 4558tons (1)

04-JUN-1959 Drift sweep clear at 54ft foul at 55ft position 51 28 47N 001 23 12E. (1)

15-MAR-1962 Wreck seems to be in two parts a. 51 28 46N 001 23 14E Least depth by echosounder 59ft position b. 51 28 40N 001 23 15E. Least depth by echosounder 59ft. (1)

22-AUG-1967 Swept clear at 54ft foul at 55ft least depth by echosounder 60ft general depth 76ft scour 94ft very large wreck. (1)

05-MAY-1977 Easy to find. Clear 16.6m, Foul 17m, general depth 23m, scour (N of wreck) 27m. Echosounder depth 17.9m. Position 51 28 44N 001 23 14E. (1)

31-OCT-1991 Least depth of 17.8m Found 40m E of charted swept depth. Wreckage lies 145m E/W; 25m N/S. (1)
