Full Description

Salvage excavation in the south-east corner of the Classis Britannica fort. A post medieval wall and cellar were located. The observations made about the earlier Roman features have been published in 'The Excavations of the Roman Forts of the Classis Britannica at Dover 1970-77'.(1)
