Full Description
Faint traces of ridge and furrow indentified via LiDAR images, as part of A21 Tonbridge to Pembury Dualling Scheme Archaeological Walkover Survey.
From the report: "comparatively straight furrows may suggest that this is post medieval steam ploughed rig, rather than medieval. The available aerial photograph from 1960 on Google Earth, shows a regular system of crossing cropmarks forming squares that suggest that the area was under-drained." (1)
