Monument record TR 34 SW 1457 - Earlier post medieval building remains at Town Yard, Dover
Summary
An evaluation was undertaken prior to redevelopment of the Town Yard site. A seried of earlier post medieval walls and foundations were uncovered and may be dated to between 1700 - 1825. They were located at a depth of between 0.35m and 0.7m below ground level and were cut by numerous later features associated with the railway works. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
