Monument record TR 34 SW 1466 - 19th century brick walling located to the south of Castle Street, Dover
Summary
During test pitting ahead of the development of the area near the junction of Castle Street and Maison Dieu Road, into a new Lidl supermarket, revealed a 19th century brick wall. Mapping from this period reveals that this wall is likely to be the original boundary between the Brewery and Castle Place plots. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
