Monument record TR 34 SW 1574 - Room 13 (possible external tank) of the Roman military bath house, Dover

Summary

During excavations undertaken in Dover town centre by Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit, a Roman military bath house was excavated and recorded. A rectangular structure was located in the north east corner of the courtyard area associated with the bath house, it was not fully excavated but it has been provisionally interpreted as a water tank. (location accurate to the nearest 2m based on available information).
