Full Description
In 1992 a Phase 2 evaluation at Vale Farm was carried out by Canterbury Archaeological Trust in advance of the construction of a reservoir. In the northern part of the site evidence of a buried land surface was found that contained finds including early to late iron age, 1st to 3rd century Roman and medieval pottery (1,2, 3)
