Full Description
In 1992 a Phase 2 fieldwalking programme was carried out by Canterbury Archaeological Trust to the south-east of Brambles farm. A dispersed pattern of Roman brick and tile was found in the southern part of the area, probably reflecting plough action dispersing material downslope. Two sherds of pottery were found, one dating to 25 BC to AD 23 and a 2nd century sherd of Gaulish samian ware. (1)
