Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: SWS Orientation: WNWESE 07-DEC-1966 Examined by diver; obstruction appears to be remains of iron or steel ship lying approx WNW/SES of which an area about 45ftx15ft of horizontal plating is uncovered. Above this four main heaps of wreckage mainly torn plating were found; easterly heap standing about 12ft high. A 3.5 inch diameter rod of iron 10ft long was recovered, material being very heavily grained and corroded. 29-JUL-1969 Least depth over wreck by echosounder 9M. General depth of sea bed by echosounder 10.6M. Depth of scour by echosounder 11.6M. Fixed in position 51 29 18N 001 23 22E. 13-NOV-1974 Fixed in position 51 29 18N 001 23 21E. Drift sweep wreck clear at 8.6m. Wreck foul at 9.1m. General depth of the sea bed by echo 10.4m. Depth of the scour by echo 11.5m Least depth over the wreck by echo 8.8m The wreckage is small in area. Wreck was examined by Port of London Authority divers. It consists of the frames of an old iron or steel ship. (1)
