Summary
During extensive rescue excavations undertaken across Dover’s Town centre by Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit a chalk block drain was located and traced for a distance of 8m running roughly southwards from the line of road B41 at the Battle of Britain Homes Site in 1971. What may have been another section of it was also located to the North West. (location accurate to the nearest 2m based on available information)
