Full Description
"Mill shown on the tithe map of 1841 as a fairlysubstantial complex of buildings. Described as a disused corn mill by 1936. Part of the watercourse and associated structures (sluices and leats?) survive".
"The examination of historic mapping for this assessment has identified that a corn mill, Millhall Mill, lay in the southern part of the application area in 1841. It was, at the time, a substantial structure with powered by a watercourse and leat which is still extant and does not appear to have been affected by
subsequent activities on the site."
"There does not appear to have been significant 20th century development on the mill site and it is considered that there is a high potential for the presence of sub-surface remains associated with it." (1)
