Full Description
A late neolithic or early bronze age round barrows is visible on aerial photographs at Lord of the Manor.
The remains of a Bronze Age round barrow are visible as a cropmarked ring ditch on air photographs.
This feature was excavated in 1976-77 and is identified as LOM 2a. The cropmarks are rather uneven
but this is likely to be a consequence of the excavations. This feature has now been partially buried by
overburden.
