Full Description

Cropmarks of an irregular arc seen at TR 3560 6525 identified as the northern part of an Early Bronze Age round barrow ditch visible on aerial photographs and identified through excavation. The site was excavated by the Thanet Archaeological Unit from 1976 to 1982 and found to be one of at least 6 ring ditches, part of a possibly middle, certainly late Neolithic to early Bronze Age ceremonial landscape in use between c. 2800-1700 BC.
