Monument record TQ 86 SW 163 - Hill Green First World War Pillbox - Stockbury
Summary
A standard 10 feet by 9 feet square pillbox. A map in the National Archives shows a trench line 220m south of east of the pillbox. This was part of the trench line running from Binbury Lane to Parsonage Farm Stockbury. This pillbox seems to have been intended to give covering fire to the fire trenches.
