A brick built air raid shelter now used as an office by a kitchen worktop company
A brick built WWII air raid shelter, it has 9 inch brick walls with a 9 inch blast wall in front of the entrance. It has a concrete slab roof and is believed to have been built by or for Sittingbourne Borough Council for the use of its workers, as the site was a council depot in the 1940s. (1)
