Full Description
The first of a series of redoubts in woodland forming part of Chatham Land Front. This is shown in The Chatham Land Defence Map to have been armed with 5 machine guns and as being protected by a barbed wire belt (2). This like the others seem to have formed strong point in the Detling to Stockbury defence line. (1)
