Monument record TR 34 SW 1759 - Post Medieval cellaring and surfaces, Dolphin Lane, Dover.
Summary
During an evaluation undertaken at the site of a former garage off Dolphin Lane, Dover, remains of a post medieval date were uncovered within all of the trenches. These remains included the infill of two 18th-19th century brick build cellars, the first was located in trench one and was 1m in depth, the second was within trench 3 and was over 1.65m in depth. Metalled surfaces of a post medieval date were also uncovered in trench 2. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
