Summary

Originally a Congregational Sunday School. The Zion Chapel in St Michael's Street was leased to the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion in 1797, although they removed to a new chapel in Tontine Street in 1857. The chapel was eventually sold to another Baptist church in 1878. It is a square building of brick with a pyramidal tiled roof. Rendered front wall of three bays with a central doorway and two tiers of round-arched windows.

Originally Congregational Sunday School (Shown in OS 1st Edition Map 1862-1875) (1) & is shown as a chapel in the OS 2nd, 3rd & 4th Edition Maps. (2,3 & 4). Now Converted into House/Private Residence. (1-4)
