A small assemblage (11 sherds in total) of Medieval pottery was uncovered during an archaeological evaluation undertaken off Bridge Street, Dover. The pottery was unabraided and is of a likely mid-late 13th to mid 14th century date. The material is entirely composed of oxodised sand tempered producets, probably from the Tyler Hill industry to the north of Canterbury. Although sherds from two different glazed jugs are present, most of the sherds are from a sooted bowl with a downturned internal beaded, elongated club rim. (summaried from source) (1-2)
