Summary

Three post medieval wells were located during an archaeological evaluation and excavation undertaken off Bridge Street, Dover. Two of the wells are located within 18th century buildings but appear to be mid-19th century additions, the third is c. 25m to the north west of these buildings and is likely to have been associated with a building formerly fronting onto Bridge Street. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
